For this project, I partnered up with another student on my course (Petra Seddoh), and together we were tasked with creating a single player physical game that could be set up in roughly 2 minutes, and played in 10 or less. For this project, Petra and I wanted to create an enjoyable experience that players at any skill level could enjoy.
After deciding on the theme for our game, Witchcraft, we began conceptualising game-play ideas. The core objective of our game, which is to gather one of each witch into your coven, was decided quite early on in development. We wanted to keep the game simplistic, and so having an objective that wasn't too difficult to understand and achieve suited the game really well. With that decided, we were able to focus on refining other things, such as card types and quantities.
